His funeral is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Main Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Welzie was born in Miller, Mo., on March 2, 1922, to Warren Lee Webb and Fay Richesin Webb. He graduated from Drury College and law school at the University of Missouri. Welzie served in the Navy during World War II. Welzie was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Lee Webb and Randy Raymond Franklin. Survivors include, Wife, Juanita G. Webb; daughter, Karen Fay Haun and husband, James; daughter-in-law, Denise Webb; sister, Marjorie Lee Webb; brothers, Robert and Murray Webb; grandchildren, Randall Raymond Franklin, Stephen Jerold Jemente, Joshua David Jemente, Jeremiah Luke Jemente and Angela Dana Jemente; great-grandchildren, Robert and Ross Franklin; and a host of other family and friends.
