He passed away at his home on December 25th at the age of 64. He joined the Navy in 1964 and served for four years. He married Kathryn Lou Henderson on June 26, 1965 in San Francisco, CA. After his service, they moved to New Mexico. Later they moved to Oklahoma and he worked for several companies before he retired as a vending retailer. Gary was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking and playing darts. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, of the home, two sons Gary L. and wife, Connie Goodwin and John Goodwin, one daughter Sharon Goodwin,, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one brother and his wife Lewis and Esperanza Burfitt of El Paso, TX He was preceded in death by his parents. A private, family committal service will be held at a later time in New Mexico. Arrangements are being handled by Crews Funeral Home of Apache, OK.
