She was born July 18, 1929 in Bisbee, AZ to John William Allen and Rosa Mae Boyce. Doris lived several years in Arkansas and about 21 years in Grants, NM followed by 25 years in Trona, CA before moving to Las Cruces. She loved the Louis L'Amour western novels, even after she lost her sight that was her pastime activity listening to her novels on the CD player, but her passion was for her family. Doris will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her three sons John and Daniel Foreman both of Trona, CA and Michael Foreman of Grants, NM; eight grandchildren John, Lisa, "Shelly", Neil, Jesse, Keegan, Amanda and Patrick; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; step-grandchildren April and Nicole; two brothers Larry Neil Allen of Las Cruces, NM, William "Duane" Allen of Pueblo, Co and sister Vesta Dion of Phoenix, AZ. Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband Lyndall Jackson "Jack" Foreman and brother Herbert Lee Allen. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date in Pima, AZ. where her cremains will be laid to rest in the family plot. A special thanks to Amber Care and the Picacho Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Las Cruces for the love and care shown Mrs. Foreman.
