Lytle Jr., 82, of Las Cruces, NM passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at Casa Bella Assisted Living. "Bob" was born July 12, 1928 in Laredo, Texas to Robert and Bernice Lytle. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for many years at NASA as a Quality Assurance Officer. Bob was a member of the American Legion and had been a resident of Las Cruces for most of his life. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nina, of Las Cruces; one son Robert H. Lytle III and wife Laura of North Augusta, SC; two daughters, Priscilla Johnson and husband Richard and Bea Kuckens and husband John, all of Las Cruces. He is also survived by grandchildren Erin Johnson Magee and husband Michael of Dallas, TX; Stephen Johnson and wife Sarah of Las Cruces; and Jonathan and Suzanna Lytle, both of Augusta, GA. A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel where the funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Timothy Smith of Sonoma Springs Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, NM.
