She was born on June 10th, 1929 to Evelyn Krefft and Edward Neville in Detroit, Michigan. Dotty's mother died when she was only three. Later, the family moved to Hammond, Indiana. There, her father married Alice Miller, adding two more daughters to the family. In 1948 she married Wayne Baillie, a Navy veteran, and worked for Sinclair Oil in Whiting, Indiana. They moved to Markham, Illinois and in 1955 they adopted a baby boy, Richard. Richard passed away on August 4th, 2008. Dotty's loving family and many friends remember her as a thoughtful and generous person. She enjoyed camping, travel, and excelled in arts and crafts. When friends gathered around the piano at home she would lead the group in singing the old favorites. Wayne retired in 1984 and they moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Dotty is survived by her husband; grand-daughters Allison and Becky Baillie; sisters, Jackie Bultema of Hammond, Indiana, Gerri Brown of Whiting, Indiana, Rosemary and Lloyd Baillie of Plano Texas. She is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Indiana.
