She was born in Las Cruces to Blas and Antonia Lujan Molina. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Cecilia Monje and husband, Cruz of Las Cruces. Other survivors include her pet dog Blackie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by by her parents, husband, Cruz Nevarez,; two brothers, Arturo and Blas Molina; five sisters, Carmen Padilla, Josefina Melon, Maggie Baldonado, Lilly Baldonado, and Natalia Duran. At her request, cremation will take place and Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 17, 2010 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, 1240 S. Espina Street with the Funeral Liturgy to be held immediately thereafter. Inurnment of cremains will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
