Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 4) at Carlsbad Family Fellowship with Rev. Rusty Smith of Guadalupe Christian Camp officiating. Burial will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday (Dec. 3) from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday (Dec. 4) from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at West Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to West Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed at westfuneralhomellc.com He was born on February 21, 1987 in El Paso, Texas to John C. and Kelly Carter Webster. Clay moved to Eddy County as a young boy where he ranched along with his parents and grandparents. Clay attended Carlsbad Municipal Schools and graduated with the Class of 2005. He attended NMSU-C prior to going to work for Loudon Electric in Artesia. He was baptized on August 13, 2000 at Guadalupe Christian Camp. Clay enjoyed a wide range of outdoor activities from hunting to rodeo. He will be truly missed. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Gerald Clay and Terry Ann Caudill Carter. Clay is survived by his parents, John and Kelly Webster of Loving, NM; sister, Kandice and husband Scott Pennington and nephew Nathan Pennington, of Hobbs, NM; grandparents, Bud and Pat Webster of Silver City, NM; Uncles: Brett and wife Tara Webster of Alpine, CA and Todd and wife Lesti Webster of San Simon, AZ and 5 cousins.
