Cadriel, 51, of Las Cruces on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at her home. She was born October 14, 1959 in Las Cruces to Don and Norma Gomez Padilla. Shirley was a Health Insurance Specialist. Those left to mourn her passing include a son, Genaro Vargas of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Monica Hernandez and Vanessa Cadriel; her parents, Don and Norma Padilla of Las Cruces; three brothers, Don Padilla, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, Jon and Steven Padilla both also of Las Cruces. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, Deseree and Isabel Hernandez, Layla and Jacob Licon II, Genaro Jr. and Giovanni Vargas, Sam and Andrew Rigales as well as many more family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gabriel and Juanita Villegas, maternal grandparents, Valentin and Alma Gomez. Visitation for Shirley will begin at 5 PM Sunday, December 5, 2010 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road where the Evening Service is scheduled for 6 PM. A Graveside Service with inurnment of Cremains will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 2 PM in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho with Pastor Marcus McKay officiating.
