Sierra, 83, of Las Cruces passed away on February 20, 2011 at his home. He was born December 25, 1917 to Santiago and Maria Sierra in Las Cruces. Mr. Sierra was a Member of the Catholic Church and was a Word War II Veteran. He is survived by his wife Graciella Sierra, his son's Frank, Enrique and Roberto Sierra; his daughters; Christina Tyler, Cicilia Farmer, Leticia Sullivan, and Carla Fiteccgerald, one sister Lupe Stamm. He is also survived by Manny grandchildren and great grandchildren. Santiago enjoyed hunting, hiking and singing with family and friends. He was also proud of his Indian decent. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter Dolores Jenkins. Serving as Casket bearers will be Enrique, Roberto and Frank Sierra, James Farmer, Randy Sullivan and Richard Munoz. Honorary will be Bindy Trujillo, and Henry Apodaca, Benny and Rudy Garcia, and Pat Gonzales Visitation for Mr. Sierra will be on Thursday February 24, 2011 at La Paz - Graham's Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., where a prayer vigil will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church in Dona Ana, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
