Melinda Medd has departed our everyday life of the material and tangible world. During her lifetime, her life was defined by many acts of kindness, thoughtfulness, consideration, empathy, and goodness that exemplified a life well lived. Her courage and determination to live in that way are nothing less than extraordinary. She is surely bound now for an eternal realm that is considered to be spiritual, celestial, and heavenly. It is my hope that in that realm, she is at peace and surrounded by all of the good things we imagine and believe to exist there. She is so very deserving of such a place. Melinda is survived by her son, Jacob Riger, her daughter-in-law, Crystal Clinkenbeard, husband Lincoln Adkins, nieces, Lynn and Cathy and husband Tim Decker, and her beloved German Sheppard, Tava. Services will be held at a later date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, gifts, etc., donations may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, whose help in these difficult times and all matters, with special recognition and thanks to Nurse Julie Phillips, were nothing less than exemplary.
