She was born October 8, 1930 in Boise, Idaho to James Willis and Sybil Mae Sadue Archer. Ms. Archer retired from the Federal Courts as a Court Interpreter. Those left to mourn her passing include two sons, Armando Kellum of Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania, James Kellum of El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Charlotte Gandy of London, England, Belita Halber of El Paso, Texas; a sister, Edith Chance of Wichita, Kansas. Other survivors include eleven grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sharon Jackson and Aurora Gilmer; a brother, Glenn Archer. Calling hours for Ms. Archer will be Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 4 PM to 6 PM in Baca's Peace Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10 AM in Heart for the World Vineyard Church, 1605 S. Valley Drive with Pastor Dale Walker officiating. Concluding Service and Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue where she will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be Ben and Steve Gandy, Armando and James Kellum, Scott Halber and Marcos Vargas.
