SALCEDO of Dona Ana. He was born January 13, 1921 in Jimenez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Guillermo and Maria Guillen Salcedo. "Carnal" as he was fondly known to his family and friends retired as a cotton bail compressor operator. He lived a long happy life, always recounting humorous and life learning anecdotes in hopes of making us aware that we are all students of life. Those left to mourn his passing include his ex-wife, Maria Salcedo, two sons, Isidro "Chilo" Salcedo and wife Lucy of Doña Ana, Hermilo "Herman" Salcedo, Jr. and wife Nancy of Las Cruces; a sister, Librada Lopez of Conchos, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a friend, father, and grandfather to his grandchildren; Michael "Mikey" Salcedo and ex-wife Jesusita "Chuyita" Salcedo, Brandy Salcedo, Lydia Salcedo Trujillo, Laura Salcedo, Sara Salcedo Baldonado, Isidro Salcedo Jr., Raul "Uncle Buck" Salcedo, Raymond "Cisco" Salcedo, Melissa Salcedo Garcia, Tanya Salcedo Ontiveros, Ray Medina Jr.; great- grandchildren, Michael "Lil Mikey" Salcedo, Marina Salcedo, Karina Salcedo, Jamie Salcedo, Mariah Salcedo, Raul "Joseph" Salcedo, Julian Salcedo Garcia, Briana Salcedo Garcia, Roman Salcedo Garcia, Sabrina Salcedo Ontiveros, Alexandra Salcedo Ontiveros, Abigail Salcedo Ontiveros and James Salcedo Ontiveros, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Other survivor includes Vicky Salcedo, ex-wife ! to Raul Salcedo. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Raul "Magoo" Salcedo and brothers, Cecilio Salcedo and Guillermo Salcedo. He had a very special and dear friend, Betty Moss, through out his life whom will always hold a special place in his heart. Visitation for Mr. Salcedo will begin at 6 PM Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road, where the Evening Service is scheduled for 7 PM. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 10 AM in the same chapel with Pastor Louie Rey officiating. Concluding Service and Interment will follow in the Doña Ana Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be Isidro "Chilo", Hermilo "Herman" Jr., Michael "Mikey", Brandy, and Michael "Lil Mikey" Salcedo and Ray Medina. Honorary casket bearers are Raul "Uncle Buck" Salcedo, Raymond "Cisco" Salcedo and Willie Baldonado.
