(Buddy) Wallace, a long time resident of Las Cruces. He peacefully passed away on April 07, 2010 in El Paso, TX with family by his side. He was born in El Paso, TX on September 02, 1933 to Bernice C. Belcher and James B. Wallace. Buddy honorably served his country in the U.S.A.F. and was a veteran of the Korean conflict. In 1957 he married Gail Warden and together they raised three children. Buddy was the manager of the Midcap Bearing Company for many years, retiring in 1996. He was a life member of B.P.O.E # 1119 Elks Lodge, a member of V.F.W. # 10124 and the Las Cruces County Club. He is survived by his son, James L. Wallace (Arlene). Daughters, Debra Wallace and Lori Maylay (Mike). Brother, William (Bill) Waldron and John Robert (Bob) Wallace. Sister, Helen McCarthy. Seven Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren. Buddy was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Gail Wallace and younger brother, Jerry Wallace. A memorial and celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 01, 2010 at B.P.O.E # 1119, Elks Drive. His ashes will be interred at Fort Bliss national Cemetery on a future date.
