She was born January 31, 1910, in Irvine, Scotland to Duncan and Lillie Sinclair. She married Bertram Mutch in 1946. Along with their two small children, they immigrated to Fairacres, New Mexico in 1951. They soon opened Scotty's Dixie and Grocery, which they owned and operated until 1974. Lily was a friend to everyone, helping countless families with groceries when they had none, and many a tank of gas for a wayward traveler, broke and trying to get home. Lily spent her life committed to serving God. She was an active member of her church, the senior center, and Women's Aglow Fellowship. Soon after the death of her husband in 1978, she moved to Garland, TX to live with her daughter, where she remained until her death. Lily is survived by her daughter, Patricia Mills and husband, Ron of Texas; her son, Sinclair Mutch and wife, Jean of Colorado, seven grandchildren: Monica Wilbanks, Charles Mills, Tricia Mills, Scott Mutch, Trevor Mutch, Brandon Mutch and Nicole Mutch, eight great-grandchildren: Joseph, Jennifer, Joshua, Tyler, Zachary, Logan, Brandon Jr. and Ryder. Although her passing will be a heartfelt loss to many, we must remember to pass on the immeasurable faith that was Lily's. She would request above all, that we celebrate her life through God's love! A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue, at 2:00 P.M.
