Biggs, 63, of Deming passed away April 5, 2011 at his residence. The family is inviting family and friends to gather for a fellowship Friday April 8, 2011 at the Rio Mimbres Country Club at 2 O'Clock in the afternoon. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Bob was born May 30, 1947 in El Paso, Texas to Claude M. "Tough" and Oma Faye Biggs. The family moved to Deming in 1948. Bob graduated from Deming High School in 1965 and graduated from University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in 1972, having taken time out to serve in the New Mexico National Guard. Bob practiced pharmacy in Albuquerque and Farmington. He also worked for the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy in Santa Fe before returning to Deming. In Deming he was called by then Mimbres Memorial Hospital Board to become their Pharmacy Director and served in that capacity for twenty years. He is survived by his wife Sue; son, Sean and daughter-in-law Kelley; granddaughter, Lynneah and his sister Geri. He is preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Jim Biggs.
