He was born June 1, 1940 in Boise City, Oklahoma to Orvile and Mildred Moulder. "Sam", as he was known to family and friends, grew up in T or C. He loved hunting and fishing, but his greatest love in life was his family, extended family and his foster children. Due to his health, Sam retired from Med Cap Bearing Company in 1995. Sam was a wonderful, loving and caring person, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Catherine; daughter, Cathy Gaye (Mark); son, Sheridan "Buddy" (Lourie) Moulder both of Montalba, TX; stepdaughters, Candy (Bob) Oliver, Sharon (Burt) and Cathy Battles, Joyce (Mike) Lameire, Kim Wallace and stepson, Eddie Battles. Other survivors include two brothers, Joe and Jack Moulder of T or C; one sister, Ruth (Lyle) Johnson of Boulder City, Nevada; eleven grandchildren, Cori, R.C., Jeffery, Bradley, Jenifer, David, Jeremiah, Gabriel, Joshua, Cherris and Caleb; six great-grandchildren, Kourtny, Alex, Alyssa, T.J., Lorenzo, Eddy and Michael. Also surviving him are all his wonderful friends in Las Cruces and T or C. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Gaye Ridens and Claudia Clark. A special thanks to Roland and Lowell. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 8, 2011 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer. 300 East Boutz Road.
