She was born April 12, 1975 to Jimmy Leon Hood and Eugenia "Gene" Armendariz in Hobbs, NM. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Quezada of Tucson, AZ; one son, Vincent Rey Quezada of Tucson; one daughter, Sidney Rhealynn Quezada of Gilbert, AZ; her father, Jimmy L. Hood of Alamogordo; her mother, Gene Hood of Bayard; three brothers, Jimmy Hood of Anderson, Indiana; Robert Aaron Hood of Colorado Springs, CO; Jonathan Brian Hood of Bayard; three nieces, Jazmyne, Ausjwane and Alexis; four nephews, JB, Adrian, Gage and Alex; maternal grandfather, Gavino Armendariz of Bayard; paternal grandmother, Evelo Hood of Silver City; two godchildren, Brittany and Robert Rowland; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and too many friends to mention. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rosenda Armendariz; paternal grandfather, Harvey Hood; two close friends, Brandy Lucero and Archie Gomez. The prayer vigil and holy rosary will be held Friday, April 15th at 6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. The memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 16th at 10am at Infant Jesus Catholic Church with Father Roberto Barreto officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
