She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Hamry. She is survived by her loving, caring husband John Lindeman, her wonderful daughters, Julie Asplund (David) and Janie Acheson (Mike), Five grandchildren, Kayln and Bob Asplund, Michael, Billy and Alyssa Acheson. Kay Laurel is also survived by her father, Lawrence Ohm and two sisters, Joanie Walden (Joe) and Phyllis Clemants (Maurice Anderson), special cousin Sharon Schatz (Herm) and 4 nieces and 1 nephew. We will always remember her with admiration for her intelligence, friendly personality, great sense of humor and many accomplishments. The remarkable courage she showed as she faced her disease amazed us all. She will be sadly missed by the many who loved her. Her life has been a gift. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 16, 1:00pm at Belden Bridge Center, located at 1214 East Madrid St. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to ACBL Unit 380.
