She was born March 04, 1938, in Vernal, Utah, to Virginia and the late Melvin Collier. Vi, as she was affectionately called, loved to learn, travel, play bridge and spend time with her family and loved ones. An entrepreneur at heart, she formerly ran and operated the Los Olmos Guest Ranch in Glenwood, N.M., and Outlaw's, a western wear store, in Las Cruces, Ruidoso and Silver City. She will be remembered for her great strength, grace, wisdom and beauty. She is survived by her mother; son, Ronald; grandchildren, Ashley and Dustin; sisters, Carol, Shelia and Becky; brothers, Leroy and Brad; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her father; son, Robert Bryan; grandson, Robert "B.J."; and brother, Frank. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Terrazas Funeral Chapels followed by a Celebration of Life service at 10am with Floyd Robertson officiating. Pallbearers will be Dustin Edwards, Steve Seney, Robert Hoover, Ronald Vanatter, Jay Killough and Chino Thacker. Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of her family and friends.
