There will be a memorial service Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10 o'clock in the morning at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Ernie Vineyard Officiating. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband Bryan Armstrong. Bryan and Joyce owned and operated Armstrong Floor and Wall in Deming since 1958. After Bryan's death in 1990 Joyce continued her love for antiques with her Oxyoke Antique store. She retired from her antique store in April of 2010. She is survived by children; Stan Armstrong and wife Fala, Saundra Rigg and husband Larry and Steve Armstrong and wife Norma, Grandchildren; Duane Rigg and wife Lisa, Dean Rigg and wife Marti, Becky Massey and husband Travis, Virgil Armstrong and wife Angela, Keith Armstrong and wife Crystal, Zack Armstrong, Lance Armstrong, Adrianna Sanchez, Chaveli Sanchez and Yovanna Sanchez, great-grandchildren; Cody Rigg, Caleb Rigg, Denton Massey, Tyler Massey, Clay Armstrong, Kylie Armstrong, Kesley Armstrong, Bryan Armstrong, Cliff Armstrong, Katie Armstrong, Alex Rigg and Donald Peters.
