He arrived on November 03, 1938 and made his final journey on this earth on Friday, July 16, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife and daughter of Deming, his former wife Mary C. Hinojosa of Coca, Florida and their children Patty Barba (Julian Jr.) of McAllen, Tx., Robbie Black (Ron) and Marlin Hinojosa (Kim) both from Coca, Florida. He is also survived by three brothers, Filimon Hinojosa (Melba), Lupe Hinojosa and David Hinojosa (Olivia) all from Las Cruces. Also left to mourn are ten surviving grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parent Alexsandro and Braulia Hinojosa and two grandchildren Julian Barba III and Ronald M. Rupert. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Old Picacho off of Shalom Colony Road.
