Survivors include his wife, two daughters, one granddaughter and her husband, and one great grandson, one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. As a young adult he worked as a "bracero" throughout the U.S. fields during harvest season. He will always be remembered by his words of knowledge and occasional jokes. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 5:00 pm at Getz Funeral Home Chapel and a prayer vigil to follow at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.
