Born to Brent and Melanie McCann, on July 25th, 2002, Savannah loved arts and crafts, especially painting. She loved nature walks to the "pinecone forest," going on frog hunts, and playing in the rain with her brothers and cousins. Savannah loved to play dress up and make up plays and stories to act out with her brothers for the whole family. Every Halloween she dressed up as a "fairytale princess." She loved spending time with her family and her special friend "Old Bear was always by her side. She loved all outdoor activates swimming, riding scooters, and playing soccer with her best friend, and brother Tyler. Savannah loved to be the life of the party, always ready with a pose for the camera and that beautiful smile. She loved her dogs and all animals; her stuffed animal collection was as big as her heart. Spending time with her mama was always a highlight of hers. They would cook and bake together ! enjoying eachother's company. She loved playtime when daddy got home from work and her and her brothers would wrestle with daddy 'til bedtime. Savannah brought joy and happiness to every life she touched. The memory of her amazing smile will stay in our hearts forever. She is survived by her mother and father; Brent and Melanie McCann, her two younger brothers; Tyler, 5, and Brody, 2. Other survivors include her maternal grandparents; Michael "Mike the Papa" and Darlene Ahlmann "Mimi", her paternal grandparents; James "Papa" and Donna McCann "Nana". Savannah is also survived by her loving aunts and uncles; Brad and Michelle McCann, Bryan McCann and Robin Mata, Terri Ahlmann and Adam Goldberg, Brent and Michelle Ahlmann, Dr. Shawna Harrison, her great grand-mother; Cathy "Nee Nee" Stewart, great aunt and uncles; Paul and Judy Czerniak, Pam Ahlmann, Dr. Anne Rosche, cousins; Savanah Maestas "Big Savanah", Caitlyn McCann, C.J. Ahlmann, "Baby" Michael Ahlmann, and many family friends near and far. "I love and miss her, she will be in my heart forever and my best friend forever," says her brother Tyler. "Our dearest Savannah, you were taken from us before we were ready for you to leave. We will miss you and love you forever. Your spirit lives on in our hearts and we will never forget your beautiful smiling face." Love always and forever, Daddy and Mama. Visitation for Savannah is scheduled for Friday, January 28th from 6pm to 8pm at Las Cruces First Assembly of God at 5605 Bataan Memorial W. Services will follow Saturday, January 29th at 12pm, with a balloon release, officiated by Pastor James Gildon. Casket bearers will be; Brent McCann, Brad McCann, Bryan McCann, Brent Ahlmann, Michael Ahlmann, and James McCann.
