She was born June 30, 1966 in Huntsville, Alabama. She had attended and graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans. For many hours of charitable work Archbishop Phillip Hannan awarded Gabby with the Saint Louise de Marillac Medal in 1984. She received her Paralegal Degree from Tulane (Newcomb) University, in New Orleans and was a Notary Public for the State of Louisiana. Gabby had an amazing zest for life and greatly enjoyed volunteering in the community and school. She committed her life to raising her beautiful sons. Gabby will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband Daniel Sisbarro and their two sons Peter and Jakob all of the family home; mother Elisabeth Huber of New Orleans, LA; brother George F.J. Huber and wife Beth of Washington, D.C; father and mother- in-law Lou and Pat Sisbarro of Las Cruces; brother-in-law Chip Sisbarro and wife Lecretia of Avondale, Az, and sister-in-law Nicole Ikard and husband Justin of Las Cruces. Also surviving her are many nieces, nephews and other family in Vienna, Austria. Gabby was preceded in death by her father George Huber. A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at the Basilica of San Albino in Mesilla, NM, with the Most Reverend Bishop Ricardo Ramirez, C.S.B. and Fr. Richard Catanach officiating. Rite of Committal will be at Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association , P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA. 22312.
