She is survived by one sister; Patricia Meza- Bradshaw Lt. Col., US Air Force, niece; Kelsey Bradshaw both of San Antonio, Texas; one brother; Roman V. Meza, and his spouse; Monica Meza, niece Domonique and nephew Isaiah all of Las Cruces, NM. Ronnie is the mother of two sons; Anthony Meza of Las Cruces NM. and Eddie Torrez, US Marine Corps, San Diego. She was preceded in death by her father Isaias Meza, of Las Cruces, NM and paternal grandparents Roman Meza and San Juana Martinez both of Vicente Guerrero Durango, Mexico and her maternal grandparents Emilio Valles and Maria Chacon both of Sf. Del Oro, Chihuahua Mexico. Ronnie graduated from Mayfield High School and received her degree in Secretarial Business administration, New Mexico State University, DABCC. Ronnie was the talented and creative one in the family, there was nothing she couldn't do with great skill and detail. Such as drawing, jewelry making, baking, knitting, crochet, glass carving, drawing other hobbies such as minor mechanic work, tile work plumbing, gardening - Well as you can see there was NOTHING she couldn't create or accomplish. Veronica was the type of women, who was not afraid, to roll-up her sleeves and get her nails dirty. She had great attention to detail and took pride in all she did. That's what made everything she worked on so special. She was a child of the 60's and 70's, loved classic rock music, and enjoyed collecting art from Greek mythology. She was as her mom would say "MULA" very stubborn but that's what made her the strong one of the family. When Veronica found out about her illness and how short her time here with us would be she never ounce cried but remained strong and unafraid. In her own words she told everyone, "I lived a good life, traveled, did things I always wanted to do and some things I wish I hadn't. Watched my kids grow into men and got to see parents age into elderly. I have no regrets I lived my life on my own terms." A Memorial Service with Dr. Bob Donohue at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at La Paz- Graham's Funeral Home, 555 West Amador, Las Cruces NM 88005.
