Minjarez "Lolie" age 62, passed away on January 6, 2011 at La Posada Mesilla Valley Hospice. She was born to Vicente and Maria Luisa Garcia on February 5, 1948 in El Paso, Texas. Rosalia loved baking biscochos, caring for her grandchildren, playing bingo, and playing in casinos. She is survived by her son Oscar Minjarez and wife Mary Ann Minjarez, their two sons Hector and Andrew Minjarez, daughter Alicia Minjarez and companion Rini K. Sanchez and granddaughter April M. Minjarez. She is also survived by daughter RoseMary Posas and husband Noel Posas, their three sons Gabriel N. Minjarez, Angel F. Posas and Oscar E. Posas; five brothers, four sisters, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Oscar V. Minjarez, mother Maria Luisa Garcia, father Vicente Garcia, grandson Noel B. Posas, God parents Jose and Josefa Sanchez, and sister Martha Garcia. Visitation for Rosalia will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at St. Anthony's Church 224 Lincoln St. in Anthony, NM from 6-7pm with a prayer vigil to follow at 7PM. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday Morning at 10am at the same church. At Rosalia's request, cremation will follow. Serving as casket bearers will be April Marie Minjarez, Noel Posas, Raymond Alaniz, Salamon Borjorquez Jr., Frankie Lopez, and Joe Garcia. Arrangements are with La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home.
