She was born January 11, 1956 in Phoenix, Arizona to Donald and Delse McLelland Stengel. At the time of her death, Barbara was employed by Tresco, Inc. as a Case Manager. Her pride and joy were the children in the TOTS Program at Tresco Tots. She was a member of the University United Methodist Church. Survivors include her sister, Myrtle Morris of Tucson, Arizona; her special friends, William and Charlene McKinney of Las Cruces, Caroline Webb also Las Cruces as well as numerous friends from Tresco and University United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dawn Hale. At Barbara's request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2 PM in University United Methodist Church, 2000 Locust Street with Pastor Randall Partin officiating.
