He was born February 3, 1930 in El Paso, Texas to Salvador Chacon and Teodora Tolentino. Raul was a warehouseman by trade and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include his daughter, Dolores Flores and husband Eddie of Dona Ana; his grandchildren, Ida Moore (Ron) of Longmont, Colorado, Veronica Melendrez (A.J.), and Eddie Flores, Jr. all of Las Cruces, as well as great-grandchildren, Mandee and Brandon Moore, Raul Flores, Francine Zuniga, Navaeh Melendrez, Alli, Aaliyah and Tristen Flores, and great-great-grandson Landon Moore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delfina Tolentino in May of 2004 and two brothers. Calling hours for Mr. Tolentino will begin at 1 PM Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church in Dona Ana, where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 2 PM with the Funeral Mass to begin immediately thereafter.
