Sambrano, 85, of Las Cruces on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sadie was born January 12, 1926 in Las Cruces to Manuel and Jane Johnson Sambrano. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. Those left to mourn her passing include her four loving daughters, Betty June Provencio of Santa Monica, CA, Virginia Reyes, Elizabeth Sambrano, and Joanne Sambrano all of Las Cruces. Other survivors include ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Eloy, Tomas, and Manuel Sambrano; a sister Lita Alvarez. At Ms. Sambrano's request cremation will take place and a Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date. Sadie will be deeply missed by her daughters and all who knew her. Entrusted to Baca's Funeral Chapels and Sunset Crematory. 527-2222.
