Martha was born June 2, 1930 in Millen, Georgia to Jarvis and Mary Williams Patterson. She was a CNA by trade. Those left to mourn her passing included her two sons, James Jackson, Jr. and Roy Patterson, and one daughter, Edna Marie Jackson all of Las Cruces; two sisters, Lilllie Mae Coleman of Waynesboro, Georgia and Dollie Whitehead of Miami, Florida; seven grandchildren, Robyn Patterson, James Maurice Jackson, James Nathan Patterson, Casandra Patterson, Brad Lee Jackson, Jamacia Sellars and Jeremy Dante Jackson, as well as eight great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her step-grandchildren, Reyna Rosales, Brandon and Kelsee Rosales. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in the Peace Chapel of Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E. Boutz Road. Family and friends will join together for the Funeral Service at 2 PM Thursday, January 6, 2011 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer. Concluding Service and Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery, 760 S. Compress Road where she will be laid to rest. Serving as caskets bearers will be James and Brad Lee Jackson, Nathan Patterson, Eric Rosas, Billy Garner, Tony Sanders and Brandon Rosales.
