She was born January 25, 1934 in Mezcala, Jalisco, Mexico to Macedonio and Maria de Jesus Campos Iniguez. Mrs. Garcia was a homemaker and member of the Catholic Church. Those left to mourn her passing include two sons, Ralph Garcia and wife Maria De Jesus, Michael Garcia and wife Virginia all of Las Cruces; four daughters, Connie Lechuga and husband Lawrence, Virginia Lazarin and husband Alfredo, Maria Garcia all also of Las Cruces, Martha Zavala and husband Israel of Denver, Colorado; a brother, Thomas Iniguez of Las Cruces; four sisters, Rosa Galvan of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Connie Weisner of Seattle, Washington, Susana Dodson of Prescott, Arizona and Maria Flores of Las Cruces. Other survivors include nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marcelino C. Garcia; three sons; two brothers, Domingo and Jose Luis Iniguez. Visitation for Mrs. Garcia will begin at 6 PM Monday, January 3, 2011 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. Family and Friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Liturgy at 10 AM Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in Our Lady of Health Catholic Church, 1178 N. Mesquite Street with the Fathers of the Augustinian Recollects officiating. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho where she will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be Lawrence Lechuga, Jacob and Alfred Lazarin III, Michael Jr., Anthony and Rafael Garcia, Jr. Honorary bearers will be Stephen and Andrew Garcia, Amber and Celina Lazarin, Lovell and Cynthia Lechuga, Veronica and Lorraine Zavala.
