She was born May 25, 1932 in Prajedes Guerrero Chihuahua, Mexico to Atilano and Catarina Castillo Lujan. Mrs Beltran was a laborer for Stahmann Farms and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Antonio Beltran of the family home; four sons, Moises Beltran (Maria) of Albuquerque, Pedro Beltran (Lidia) of Las Cruces, Ruben Beltran (Eileen) of Rio Rancho, and Salvador Beltran (Debbie) of Ruidoso; five daughters, Alicia Lugo (William) of El Paso, TX, Antonia Perez, of Las Cruces, Teresa Beltran of Sierra Vista, AZ, Maria Rivera (Antonio) of El Paso, TX and Eloisa Romero of Mesquite. Other Survivors include one brother, Bernardo Lujan of Sacramento, CA; and three sisters, Maria Macias and Maria Elena Fernandez both of El Paso, TX, and Juana Martinez of Palm Springs, CA; twenty grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Calling hours will begin at 6 PM Monday, January 17, 2011 in San Jose Catholic Church, 353 Josephine Street, in La Mesa where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in the same church with Reverend Martin Cordero officiating. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the San Jose Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be Antonio, Martin, and Gabriel Beltran, J.J. Lugo, Eric Villalpando, Joshua Ramirez, and Alfredo Fernandez. Service Arrangement have been entrusted to the Care of Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E. Boutz Road, Las Cruces, 527-2222.
