Gregorio "Goyo" Meza, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on June 25, 2010. He was born to Gregorio Sr. and Ignacia Meza on January 24, 1937, in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a long time resident of La Mesa as was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother; survived by his remaining three brothers and two sisters; children Fany and wife, Lucy; Raul and wife Norma; Eddie and wife Bella; daughter Laura; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be his sons Fany, Raul, Eddie, and grandson Noel; also servicing as pallbearers are close family friends Eddie Armenta and Daniel Saenz. Family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m., to 7 p.m., on Sunday June 27, 2010 at San Jose Catholic Church where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 p.m., funeral mass will be on Monday June 28, 2010 at 10 a.m., also at the same church, burial will follow at La Mesa Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Services have been entrusted to the care of La Paz - Graham's Funeral Home 555 West Amador, Las Cruces NM 88005.
