Torres, 82, of Mesquite died on Monday at Memorial Medical Center. Survivors include sons, Raul Anastacio Torres of Mesquite and Oscar Torres of Farmington; daughters, Linda Aguilar of Doña Ana, Alicia Ferrales of Salem, Lydia Marquez of Las Cruces, Bertha Garibay of Albuquerque, Elvira Torres Vigil of Mesquite, Victoria Torres of Las Cruces, Martha Stansbury of Austin, Texas, Hortencia Viramontes of Las Cruces and Ernestina Rivera of Austin, Texas; brothers, Angel Martinez of Clint, Texas and Chito Martinez of Mexico; sisters, Victoria Martinez of San Elizario, Texas, Lupe Martinez of Sausal, Mexico and Paula Flores of Mexico; fourteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitations will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Mesquite where the prayer vigil will begin at 7 p.m. Services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the same church.
