He was born in Hugo, OK to Lee Edward and Annabelle Pound on March 31, 1954. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion in Oklahoma, as well as the VFW. He was currently the foreman of a sandblast and paint company. Johnny is survived by his wife of nineteen years: Barbara Jean Pound of Odessa; three sons: John Pound and wife Kaycee of Odessa, Jose Estrada and wife Rachel of Espanola, NM, and Conrad Estrada Jr. and wife Deanna, of Las Cruces, NM; one daughter: Marlana Moreno and husband Albert of El Paso, TX; one sister: Mary Lou Hopson of Moyers, OK; and thirteen grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 03, 2010 at Christ Church of Midland, officiated by Rev. Tom Finnie. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
