A celebration of her life will be held for friends and family at a later date. Nan was born March 11, 1960 in Chicago, Ill. to Frank Solarczyk and Dolores Ingle. She graduated from Las Cruces High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She moved to Anchorage in 1987. She married Howard Patten at Spirit Lake in Kenai on June 11, 2000. They moved to Hamilton, Mont. in 2002 and returned to Kenai in 2005. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. "Nan loved and lived life to the fullest. She loved her husband, family and friends deeply, always giving her love unconditionally. She loved all animals, great and small, especially her cat, Paz." "Nan's beauty, quick wit and wonderful sense of humor could make you laugh and cry at the same time. We are grateful to have had her in our lives and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her." her family said. She is survived by her husband, Howard Patten of Kenai; daughter, Heather Gambini; son, Nick Gambini, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; father, Frank Solarczyk of Las Cruces, New Mex.; her mother and stepfather, Dolores and Ben Ingle of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and brothers, Frank Solarczyk, Jr., David and Sammy Solarczyk all of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and many friends.
