He was born on Nov. 12, 1975 in Los Angeles, CA. to Albert and Julie Martinez. Albert was a great father and brother, a beautiful, gentle person who had an exceptional sense of humor. Albert was good hearted and always made others feel better; He loved talking to people and was a great listener. Albert enjoyed reading and was an artist at heart. Albert will be greatly missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son Zachary Martinez of Deming, NM; fiancé Priscilla Rivera; mother Julie Molina; father Albert Martinez Jr. and his wife Estella; sisters Annette Leyva and fiancé Jeff Harvey, Christine Acosta and husband Danny and Patricia Olivares and husband Arthur all of Las Cruces, Rachel Roberts and husband Lance of Panama City, FL and Jannette Corella and husband Victor of Los Angeles, CA. Albert was preceded in death by his daughter Amanda Martinez, sister Kathy Martinez, grandfather Alberto Martinez, grandmother Susanna Carnero and uncle Carlos Martinez. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Getz Funeral home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 PM. Albert's funeral mass to celebrate his life will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 27, 2010 also at Getz Funeral Home.
