She was born on May 16, 1925 in Dallas, TX., the only child of R. A. and Thelma Allen. She was active in the First Baptist church of Las Cruces and for a number of years she worked with the children in Sunday School and with University Students. She also helped in a Saturday Bible Class for special children. She enjoyed China painting, oil painting and also watercolor painting. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, George of the family home; daughter, Cheryl Demille of Las Cruces; two grandchildren, Stanley Demille and Michelle Downs and her husband Paul of Dallas, TX.
