Gone to soon, loved by all. Mark was born May 19,1966 in Dallas, Oregon where he grew up and attended elementary through high school. He moved to Las Cruces in 2002. He lost his battle with cancer on Friday, May 28, at 3 A.M. Mark enjoyed motorcycle riding, four wheeling, and spending time with his family. He had a good sense of humor and will be missed. Asleep, he now waits with his mother for the resurrection to eternal life. Mark is survived by his wife Alison, daughter Ashley, son Mark Jr., and his father Jack Brookshire. Other survivors include brothers; Jack Jr.,(Tina), Darrell, and Charles. Nephew Derrick(Tiffany), and niece Cassie(Ray). Special thanks goes to all the staff at Amber Care Hospice and to a very special person, Kathy Smith. Also to sister in law Donna Calvert and mother in law Kay Bidwell.
