Knop, 85, of Las Cruces, died May 27, 2010. She was born September 23, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI to Charles and Mary Kretchmer Albert. She had been a loan officer in the banking industry and retired after many years of faithful service. Elrose enjoyed ballroom dancing, was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Encantada Park Ladies Club. She also enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts. Mrs. Knop will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son Paul H. Wall III of Israel; Dawn McCauley and husband Larry of Bend, OR and Sharon Thacker of Milwaukee, WI; seven grandchildren; Allison, Erinn, Kelley, Andrea, Christopher, Eaden and Lee El and by ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving her is her ex-husband Paul H. Wall II of San Francisco, CA. Elrose was preceded in death by her loving husband William and her brother Buddy Albert. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 03, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home with Dr. Rev. Marcus Burr officiating.
