She was born June 03, 1924 and grew up in New York City. "Gracie" as she was fondly known to friends, married Lawrence John Morrison on June 24, 1948. She visited Las Cruces for over 25 years and relocated to Las Cruces 2 1/2 years ago. Survivors include a son, Jon Morrison; two daughters, Margaret Fried and Lorraine Morrison; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Patterson, Lawrence Morrison and Annie Ibrahim and twin great grandchildren, Zain and Nour Ibrahim. At Mary's request cremation has taken place and no local services will be held. Her cremains will be sent back east to be buried with her husband and son, Lawrence. Special thanks to all her friends at Holy Cross Bingo, St. Genevieve's Bingo, American Legion Bingo and the Mesilla Valley Hospice.
