Reyes, Jr., 71, of San Miguel entered eternal life Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1939 in Santo Tomas (Stahmann Farm's) to Jose G. and Carolina Lujan Reyes. Mr. Reyes retired from the United States Department of Agriculture as a sheet metal mechanic and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Raquel Reyes of the family home; one son, Ron Reyes of Las Vegas, Nevada and one daughter, Sonia Reyes Orduñez and husband, Ernesto of San Miguel; three brothers, Armando L. Reyes and wife, Velia of Los Lunas, Gerardo L. Reyes and wife, Melsina of Las Vegas, Nevada, Carlos L. Reyes and wife, Lupe of Pico Rivera, California; three sisters, Mary Lou Lewis of Las Cruces, Lupe Leyva and husband, Manuel and Alicia Reyes of San Miguel. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Daniel Rojas, Danielle Rojas, Monique Rojas, and Reese Reyes; two great-grandchildren, Serenity S. Bustamante and Zoii A. Dickerson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Alexandra Rojas; a brother, Manuel Reyes and two sisters, Consuelo Piña and Bertha Reyes. Visitation for Mr. Reyes will begin at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 03, 2010 in San Miguel Catholic Church, where the prayer vigil is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, June 04, 2010 in the same church. The rite of committal and interment will follow in the San Miguel Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Serving as casket bearers will be his three brothers, Armando L., Gerardo L. and Carlos L. Reyes, Chito Reyes, Dino and Herman Facio, Santiago Gonzalez and Daniel Rojas. Entrusted to Baca's Funeral Chapels, 300 E.
