Hays, 72, died Monday at his home, 1840 Gladys Dr. The body was sent to Albuquerque for cremation. Mr. Hays was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hays earlier this year. Survivors include one son, John P. Hays of Los Angeles, CA; one daughter, Mrs. Phillip Hosford of Las Cruces and five grandchildren. Local arrangements were by the Getz Funeral Home.
