Compound that with the fact that NM had no "formal" system of recording births until 1919, it will be difficult to obtain records. Probably the best you could hope for would be a church record-but determining a church will not be simple either. There are some records for Valenica County on familysearch.org-but most have not been indexed, so you have to search page by page. Early NM is difficult at best!
