Hortense was probably born along the Iowa/Missouri border by Lineville, Iowa in 1897 and died in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1983. Hortense married Dewey Duble. Lula May's parents were William J. Phillips and Mary Dietz who lived in Lineville, Iowa. Daniel Andrew's parents were Martin Byrd and Carolyn Haneblin of Lineville, Iowa.
