The family migrated in Albuquerque around 1888. William Patten Hughes attended a Catholic Convent School in Albuquerque sometime in 1888 or 1889. He was eleven or twelve years old. Does anyone have information on which church would have had a convent school and if any records would be available. William ran away around age twelve and though his father eventually found him in the early 1900's there was little communication betwwen the two men. All the family knows about Williams father was his name, Miles, that the family came from kentucky around 1888, that Miles possibly had a brother in the same area, the family were Irish Catholic.
