Jamharian, 83, a native of Albuquerque since 1965, died Tuesday, March 24, 1998 in a local hospital. He is survived by his son, Reuben A. Jamharian (wife, Susie); and sister, Rita Jamharian Cook, all of Albuquerque; plus many other loving family members. Mr. Jamharian was a member of the Armenian Orthodox Church Chapel. He was a member of Mesa Lodge #68, A.F. & A.M., the Ballut Abyad Temple of the Shrine, and York Rites Bodies. He was a Lt. Col. of the New Mexico State Defense Force and retired owner and operator of Jamharian Oriental Carpets. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Armenian Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday in the Armenian Chapel, 111 Pennsylvania SE, with Father Levon Arakelian officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park with Mesa Lodge 368 A.F. & A.M. and the York Rite Bodies officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Armenian Orthodox Church of Albuquerqu! e, in care of the Armenian Cultural Society of New Mexico, 111 Pennsylvania SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
