Askren in the 1910 census. He is in Bernalillo co, New Mexico. John was born Mar 1872 in Iowa, the son of Josiah Askren and Ann Eliza Payne. He married Eva Bailey in Wapello Co., Iowa, 24 June 1896. They had two children William and Ruth Askren.
