Looking for a theard regarding John Alfred Porch or Poarch..My Grandfather. b. 1-10-1891 in TN............no birth records prior to 1914 d 9-6-1956 unfortunately I don't know where he died. Could have been NM He often went by the nick name Jack. He had a son named Jack b about 1936. All I have is a photo of the two of them with my Dad James Sanford Porch or Poarch in GRANTS, NM. Yes the spelling of our name is different on several documents. The Us Army has my dad as PORCH...SS has it as PORCH crossed out and spelled POARCH. Hope some one can point the path to take next.
