Doerfer, a resident of Albuquerque for 26 (28) years passed away in a local hospital early Sunday. He is survived by his wife Rose Doefer; two daughers, Mrs. Charlene Bowman of Albuquerque, Mrs. Betty Stone of Sherman, Texas; one son, Rex Doerfer with the Air Force and two grandchildren. He was a (unreadable) owner of a bonding farm a member of the Carlisle Bennett American Legion Post #13, past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a member of the Edelweis and Rio Grande German American Club, Royal Order of Moose Lodge #2241; the 40-K Grande (Unreadable) New Mexico and a member of the Moose Legionaires. Doerfer was also a member of the Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited today at 7 p.m. in the Fern Chapel of Stong-Thorne 1100 Coal SE. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p,m, in the Palm Chapel Tuesday. Entombment will follow in the Sunset Mausoleum. The second one is VERY unreadable, but looks like it mentioned the pall bearers and such.
